暗号資産古物商協会が10月28日に設立された。仮想通貨によるモノの売買を日本国内で普及させるための活動に取り組み始めた。投機的な資産としてではない、仮想通貨の実需を作っていくことが目標だ。協会代表理事の小宮自由氏は「仮想通貨の普及を図るための新しい活動につなげたい」としている。
